Good friend

I am dedicating this post to one of my best students. Anup has a very cheerful disposition and an excellent sense of humor, making working with him a very pleasant experience.  Anup’s management skills came to light when he actively participated in organizing a couple of events for the annual college symposium which inevitably led to him being elected as the president of the association of electronics and communication in the department, the following year.  His consistent demonstration of leadership  has caused his peers to select him as their representative, a role which he gladly accepted, and one in which he surpassed both his fellow students’ as well as the faculty’s expectations

I have been in the field of education for over seven years now, of which I have spent almost six years with the Department of Electronics and Communication at St. Peter’s Engineering College. Over the years, I have been involved with a number of students and without any hesitation, I will place Anup in the top 5% - 10% of those students.  Given the level of difficulty of the subject matter that these students learn, and the quality of his class-mates, it is a significant achievement.  I am confident that not only is he suited for graduate study but also that he will succeed in the same.  Besides his admission to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at George Washington University, I strongly recommend also that he be given full funding.
