CDs

I find it interesting to amuse my blog readers with different kind of post title. Again, this post title will also mis guide you about what I am going to talk in this post. Well, I am not going to talk about music CDs in this post, but about the CDs which we get in Banks called Certificate of Deposits. these CDs are similar to savings bank account but not the same. You investment will be locked in for a particular period if you invest in CDs. i.e you can withdraw you money as and when you want like in Savings account. Though the liquidity for CDs are lesser than Savings account, it has other benefits. The cd rates are higher than the normal Savings account rates and hence people prefer to invest in this type of deposits. Many are not aware about the benefits of CDs. In fact, I was also clueless about CDs until I read an article about it online. I then came to realize that they are good investment tools with reasonable return on investment.
